My students are provided with a differentiated variety of activities and exercises daily. In order to challenge each student and empower them to be intellectually autonomous, I provide many choices throughout the day. I help my students develop a growth mindset and empower them to know how to help themselves when they feel stuck. I aim to approach teaching in a way that lights my students' passion for learning.
My classroom is active. The more the students are moving and doing, the more likely they are to be paying attention and gain something from their experiences. I often create opportunities for cooperative work which fosters the students' social and emotional development.
